Hold lighter upside down, hinges away from you, thumb on top corner and middle finger on the hinge. Index finger should be just above your middle finger. Use forth finger to open lighter. Place forth finger onto the wheel, make sure your thumb is on top now, if you started properly all you have to do is slide it forward a little. Use your forth finger to brace, and your thumb to place pressure on lighter. You should push lighter down and up again with thumb. This goes into a nice aerial trick, catch it lit, close.
