There’s nothing like a lit lighter flying through the air to get the crowds attention, and aerials are a lot easier to perform than say, lifting large objects with your case piercings. Before you attempt this one, be sure to find a nice fireproof spot to practice in. Out in the garage next to the gas can? Noooo. Next to the pile of leaves? Noooooo. How about you just go to your Designated lighter Practice Area? All righty then! Place the lighter in your dominant hand, with your middle finger [or index, whichever is best for you] resting on the flint wheel, and your thumb resting on the bottom of the case. Be sure and aim upwards, as floor bound aerials are decidedly not cool. Now for the launch itself. Toss the lighter upwards, while squeezing your thumb and finger together, and the lighter will ignite as it takes off spinning into the air. The power of the upwards toss will determine the length of the flight, and the power of the squeeze will decide just how fast the lighter will spin. The Power of Greyskull will help you defeat Evil, but that’s another story. As shown in the picture the lighter will fly spinning in an arc, destination: your non-dominant hand. Obviously you can also perform a one-hander where you launch and catch with the same hand. Either way, the lighter should still be on fire upon landing. Do be sure and catch the lighter with the case pointing down and the flame pointing up, as burning your hand never lends itself to the performance. In the event that you do burn your hand, say something like “Everybody look! There goes Elvis!” and point to somewhere other than where you are, thereby giving you a chance to make a fast getaway.

I like it, easy to perform (well, all but the catching it right part), simple is good.
