This is not a trick, but a way to close Your lighter. Open it anyway You like as long as the hinges is pointing at You (if the lighter is upside down hinges should be pointing away). Then light the lighter in any manner. Now, toss the lighter (still lit) vertically rotating up in the air. As it comes down, catch it in any hand. Make sure to time it so the cap will hit Your palm and close upon landing.
