Twilight Zone by Ala Jabri (Original)

Open and light the lighter with a simple snap near the spark wheel (let you middle finger run down the spark wheel), when the lighter lights begin to move you fingers over the flame until the flame "seems" to be out. Really the flame only seems to be out because the blue flame is still there (that is the most difficult part of the trick, you must make it seem like its out). Now lift your hand quickly and snap your fingers and the flame will come back (by moving your hand oxygen comes back to the flame and it re-ignites.) Then simply tell the audience "Its Magic."

for the love of god i cannot get this one!!! can someone tell me which way to bend the wick or something? towards the flint or to the side idk... i cannot get the flame to stay down it either dies or burns me ahhhhhhh!!!!

I feel really silly asking this but does anyone have tip on this trick? I bent the whick and and when I do the finger over the flame it doesn't go out. So please anyone?
