The lighter’s on the ground, hinge toward you, cap to the right (sorry to the lefties). Pick it up with thumb on the hinge, middle and ring on the bottom and cap respectively. Break open the lighter, catching the hinge between pinkie and ring. Use thumb on top of chimney to pull it back towards wrist; Release thumb, use topside of index to strike flintwheel, then spin the hinge area around the ring such that the body falls into the palm. It’s lit and hot, so be quick. I closed by raising the ring, thus spinning the body inwards, allowing a quick fold close; replace lighter as it sat when you picked it up.
