Hold the lighter flat between your fingers; thumb on the hinges, ring finger on the cap, and index finger on the thin side. Open the lighter with your ring finger, and then with your middle finger, rotate the lighter downwards so that the wheel is facing you. Place your ring and index fingers on the bottom of the lighter and strike the wheel with your thumb. Then with your middle finger, rotate the lighter upwards to up right position. Put your index finger on the thin side under the wheel and close the lighter with your thumb.
