Back in the day this was one of very few tricks known to man. When this clip along with a few others came up when LT.com started out, they set off an avalanche of new discoveries. Therefor: Treat this one with respect - it's a classic! :-) This trick is quite similar to “Squeeze & Flip”, but uses a different method to open the , lighter. It is one of the most recognizable lighter tricks in existence and is certainly one of the easiest to perform. Hold the lighter in your non-dominant hand, lid up, with the hinge towards your web. Now snap the lid open with your dominant hand. You’ll want to rotate your dominant hand upwards to do this. With the lid open, perform another snap to ignite the lighter. This time make sure you do the snap downwards, so that the middle or index finger hits the sparking wheel. To close, why not make it a triple snap? Perform another snap on the backside of the lid to close. Another cool variation is to “flick” the lighter instead of “snap” it. Make sure to keep a tight grip on the lighter as you merrily flick and snap – no sense in flinging it across the room!
