Hold the lighter with thumb, middle and index fingers. Thumb on the thin side, where the hinges are, middle finger on the other thin side of the lighter, and index on the cap. Open the lighter with your index. Now rotate the lighter by placing your index on top of the chimney and rotate the lighter 180 degrees on its vertical axis, then rotate again 90 degrees with thumb and index on its horizontal axis. The lighter should end up upside down with the flat side facing you. Now put your middle finger on the bottom of the lighter and strike the wheel with the back of your ring finger. Spin the lighter 180 degrees anti-clockwise, and then spin back 180 degrees clockwise. Rotate your wrist so that you palm facing upwards. Close with your thumb.
