Hold the lighter upside down, index and middle fingers on the hinges-side of the body, thumb on the other side, and ring finger on the lid. Open the lighter with ring finger, push the chimney between index and middle fingers, and place your thumb on the bottom of the lighter. Push the lighter with your thumb, the lighter will rotate and your index will strike the wheel to light the lighter. To close, rotate the lighter on its vertical axis, and then place your index on the bottom corner and you pinkie on the lid.
