Begin by holding the lighter upside down by the cap with your thumb and index finger. Hinges pointing away from you. Flick your wrist foward to open the lighter, and use your middle finger to wist the lighter around (holding by cap) and grab with your thumb. With the lighter in your thumb and middle finger, flick the wheel with your index finger. This is asuming you are right handed.
