Thanks! Mr. Blaisdell by mr.twistyneck
If you don't know who George Blaisdell was, then you need to bone up on your lighter history..... To complete this trick, hold the lighter as you would in More Bacon, but with more of a tilt towards your third finger. This will put the length of the lighter mostly parallel with your fingers. Hold your hand upright, with the back of your hand facing your audience. Fold your three fingers and the lighter into your palm, passing the lid just past the meat of your thumb. Immediately pull up on the lighter, using the meat of your thumb to catch the lid and open it, and then quickly push the lighter back down again, striking the flint wheel against the meat of your thumb and lighting the lighter. Then unfold your fingers until they're straight again. What the audience will see, is a lighter disappear into your palm and then reappear lit. The bigger your palm, and the fatter the meat of your thumb is, the better. If you do it right, your thumb won't even leave the audience's sight. Excuse the cruddy videos, this was a hard trick to shoot by myself.

Wicked easy to pull off, and admirably deceptive. Kudos.
