First hold the lighter in your dominant hand, facing you, with the hinge toward your pinkie. Your index and middle finger should be on the top, and your thumb on the bottom. Squeeze [or snap, whatever you call it] the lighter open, and you'll be holding the lighter between your index finger and thumb, with the cap open towards your pinkie. Pull the lighter into your palm [your index finger will fold slightly] and as you do this, place your pinkie on the hinge side, your ring finger on top of the hinge area next to the chimney and your middle finger folded behind the lighter. As it seats in your palm, one corner will be pressed into the area below your thumb, and your pinkie will hold it there. Then snap your index finger with your thumb, and the inside area of the tip of your index finger will spin the flint wheel, lighting the lighter. To close, use the same closing maneuver as The Buick. Remember that a trick like this needs to be done quickly, otherwise you run the risk of the chimney getting hot, and burning your finger.
