This trick might have seemed like a good idea back in the old days. Now? I'm not so sure.... Never the less, here's how to do it: Hold the lighter in Your dominate hand: Thumb and index finger holding on to the body of the lighter. Hinges pointing out. Form a “V” for victory with Your other hand. Hit the lighter firmly so the hinges hits the index finger as shown in picture 1. This will cause the cap to bounce open. Then place the middle finger of the “V” over the cap as shown in picture 3. Now holding op to the cap with the index-, and middle finger, swing the lighter around 90 degrees. When done, hit the sparking wheel with Your dominate index finger to ignite. To close, swing lighter back up 90 degrees, hold on to the body with index-, and thumb, and then close the cap by moving the index placed underneath the cap up.
