You will have to try hard to figure out why I named this trick Bruce, but do you really care anyway? This is an extremely simple trick, but it is a building block to another trick: The Pauly Pop (so if you are have trouble with that trick this is a good place to start). This is basically a simpler variation of The Merry-go-round. Hold your lighter of choice in your non-dominant hand with your thumb and middle finger on opposite sides right above the hinge (play around with your finger placement, because this is the key to the trick). The cap should be facing the floor (i.e. the lighter is upside down) and the hinge should be facing your palm. Now with your free hand strike the cap with your Index finger. This will cause the cap to open and the lighter to spin 180 degrees. Use your index finger (on the hand holding the lighter) to ignite the lighter. Snap shut!
