Holding a lit lighter is one thing, and launching a lit lighter in the air is quite another – but spinning a lit lighter between your fingers can really leave your audience amazed. Once you master this, be sure and try all the “Legally Blind” variations available on lightertricks.com. Hold the lighter upside down, with the lid in between your index and middle fingers, hinge towards your thumb. Reach up with your thumb and third finger, and grab the bottom corner opposite the hinge and pull the lighter open. Grab the case of the lighter [ideally as close to the hinge edge as possible] between your third and fourth fingers. Rotate around your third finger, grabbing the bottom with your middle finger. As your middle finger comes in contact with the bottom, use it to push the flint wheel against your thumb, lighting the lighter. Now the lighter is lit, and there's more spins to come! Spin the case around your middle finger, using your index to grab the lid. Use your index finger to rotate the lighter all the way around your middle finger. Rotate around your third finger so that the case of the lighter ends up between your third and fourth fingers. Grab the lid with your index, middle finger, and thumb to steady. Remember, it's lit, so it's hot! Close with a Lid Swing. There, nine steps! Easy, huh?
