Hold the lighter as you would for a reverse palm squeeze. Squeeze the lighter up against the webbing of the thumb and index finger. This should open the lighter. Drop the lighter through the space between your thumb and index, and grab the lighter at the hinge by your ring and pinkie fingers. Walk it through your fingers to your index finger (should be done the chimney pointing down). When you get the lighter to your index, pull it over with your thumb, and then light it with your thumb and close when ready.
