Hold the lighter upside-down in your dominant hand with your thumb on top of the bottom case and index and middle on the lid. Do a thumb squeeze, and the bottom of the case of your lighter should swing over to your left (if you use your right hand, but i'm a lefty). Swing the lighter around the back of you middle finger so now you're holding it with your middle finger on one side, and your index and ring fingers on the other. Light with your thumb, and then swing it around your ring finger. Close it any way you like.
