Hold your lighter upside down between your middle finger and thumb. The thumb on the bottom of the cap, and your middle finger on the top portion of the body. Hinges pointing to your thumb. Your index must be free. Now squeeze and let middle finger slide off the body. This will cause the lighter to pop open. Now use your ring finger to ignite. Close the cap anyway you like. This squeeze can also be used with your lighter hold up straight with your middle finger on top of the cap and your thumb underneath the body. This time, use your index finger to ignite.
